Kara was keen to come and support the achievements of those with dyslexia. She was very happy to be at the event and spoke to us about her dyslexia, why she is supporting the cause and the importance of dyslexia support.&nbsp;<br /><br /><br /><br />

A designer, jockey, fisherman and honorary Eagle Dancer of a North American Indaian tribe, Steve is a self-styled Lord Shoreditch. Describing himself as a prophet, madman and wanderer, he has worked with George Lucas, Cartier and Dior, to name but a few.<br /><br />Steve is severely dyslexic and says he has never read a book. He attributes his success in having this hidden disability diagnosed early and at 13 years he got a part-time job at IPC Media. It was here he found his talent. He now believes that if he can look at a piece of design before it leaves the studio and immediately grasp its message, then anyone should be able to understand it. Choice Award Winner&nbsp;</span>Mollie, who is one-fifth of girl band The Saturdays, was delighted to be the recipient of this year's It's ME! Choice Award. Her acceptance speech was part of the awards ceremony at tonight's (November 29th 2011) Dyslexia Action Awards Dinner at the Savoy Hotel, London.<br /><br />Earlier this year we ask those affected by dyslexia to nominate a dyslexic celebrity that inspired them the most and who they thought should win this year's award as part of the 10th Anniversary of the Awards Dinner. Gary, who is now known as the Million Metre Man, and Charley rowed the start of the 6th marathon together! <br /><br />Fresh from his trip to Canada Charley, visited Dyslexia Action Head Office to show his support for our super fundraiser and his incredible Million Metre Challenge.<br /><br />

Supporters dropped by Dyslexia Action HQ throughout the day to cheer the mad fundraiser, also known as the million metre man!<br /><br /> Gary was joined on a rower by other fundraisers and It's ME! supporters including Dyslexia Action's very own IT supremo Tim Donne. So for the 2011 race the Royal Parks organisers have decided to operate a new ballot system to make the  process fairer for everyone and eliminate the rush, as runners will have two weeks to enter themselves for selection.
<p>However, a ballot system is a little more complicated so please make sure you <strong>read all the information fully</strong> before you enter.&nbsp; There is no rush with 2 weeks to put yourself forward so you can take your time and make sure you understand the process fully before hand.</p>

We were asking children aged 7-15 to tell us what it was that makes them who they are.
